Conflict Resolution According to the Yoga Sutras taught by Ruth Hartung, is part of the advanced training for the 500 hour yoga teacher certificate. Yet, like many of the yogic teachings, it is applicable to all areas of life particularly for those experiencing conflict in personal and professional relationships. These skills are highly effective in the work arena especially for educators, lawyers interested in mediation and those in management positions where the quality of relationships dramatically impacts the work environment.

Based on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras which also aligns with Buddhist philosophy, this course examines how to find the root of conflict. Conflict resolution is a step by step process that begins with the understanding conflict at a core level, coming up with actions and then learning skillful means of communication.
